What Surfn keeps from Instagram
When you connect an Instagram Business or Creator account to a Surfn agent, Surfn imports only what you choose: your profile (name, username, bio and profile picture) and your own posts' captions, links and dates. They're used only so your agent can answer visitors' questions about your content and link back to your posts. Surfn never posts, comments or sends messages on your behalf, and never sells your data, uses it for advertising, or uses it to train AI models.
Delete it from Surfn
- Sign in to Surfn and open your agent.
- Go to Data Sources and open the Instagram tab.
- Open the ⋮ menu on your connected account and choose Disconnect Instagram.
Disconnecting automatically deletes all imported Instagram content from that agent — posts, bio and everything derived from them — and removes Surfn's access to your account. Repeat for each agent you connected.
Delete it from Instagram
You can also remove Surfn from your Instagram account's Apps and websites settings and request deletion of the data it holds. Surfn then deletes your Instagram content from every agent it was connected to, and gives you a confirmation code and a link to check the status of your request.
